Rebounding from its road loss to Andover, Deerfield earned a 24-13 home victory over local rival Frontier Regional. This win gives the Green a series sweep for the season. Led by Annie Kane ’20 and Michelle Zimmermann ’21 on offense, the Green was opportunistic on defense, which led to fast-break scoring opportunities. The Green was poised throughout the game as they played with commitment to team basketball. Ball movement was crisp, and the patient offense created good scoring opportunities. G. Sackrey led all Frontier scorers in what proved to be a valiant effort on both sides. Deerfield goes back to work on Saturday with a home contest against Hotchkiss.
