Lexi Baker ’19 and Whitney Vogt ’20 led all Deerfield scorers. Captain Jada Howard ’19, Vera Grace Menafee ’20, Ruby Chase ’21, and Juliet Lowe ’21 each contributed 6 points , and Captain Nicole Da Costa ’19 and Michelle Zimmermann ’21 each found her way into the scoring column. This game was a solid team victory in which everyone had a hand by playing quality minutes, making strong passes, and competing in a game that was closer than its final score. Cushing Senior Christie Yip led all scorers with 10 points. Deerfield improves to 6-4 for the season and looks forward to opening the door on two challenging road games this week, Suffield and Loomis Chaffee.
