This weekend Deerfield Volleyball headed down to Choate to play three different matches against tough competition. Our second match echoed the first. Up against Lawrenceville we were able to get an early lead, our strong serving again making things difficult for our opponent. Kiana Rawji, one of our senior captains led us through this match. With 18 assists, 6 digs, and 3 aces her leadership kept spirits up throughout the whole match. We also had an outstanding showing by Soo-min Lee who led the team with 12 digs and held down our defense. This match ended up as a loss 3-1, but the Deerfield girls were still ever-positive, and looking forward to our third match of the day.
