This weekend Deerfield Volleyball headed down to Choate to play three different matches against tough competition. Our first match was against Sacred Heart, and the Big Green of Deerfield came out strong. We came back from a deficit to win the set 26-24. Over the next three sets we lost momentum, and our errors overtook us. With only 23 kills and 27 hitting errors, we were unable to “control the controllables” that we talk about all the time. We took some positives away to guide us in our next match, including the performance by Georgia Quesnelle, who led the team with a 0.105 hitting percentage.
