JV Volleyball started off their season strong winning all 3 sets against Worcester Academy. In a game where strong serving led the way, Izzy McDonald, Steph Martinez and Abby Persons put Deerfield ahead and out of reach in all three sets. The team outplayed Worcester with the effort of all 15 players contributing. The Big Green took the first set 25-13, continued their success in the second set with a score of 25-12 and finished the game with set 3 scoring 25-13. Each player showed great efforts in setting, blocking, passing and hitting. The team is off to a great start and will be working on preparing to showcase all of the skills that they demonstrated against Worcester when they face Loomis next week.
