On an unexpectedly sunny Saturday afternoon, the Girls’ JV lacrosse team won a decisive victory at home against rival Choate. Beautifully implementing all of the skills they had honed over the first few weeks of the season, all members of the JV-A squad saw field time and five different players scored in the 11-3 victory. Leading the scorers was Virginia Murphy with 5 goals, followed by Cornelia McKay with 3, and Emily Stonestreet, Emma Jaskolski, and Erin Howe each with 1 each. Paige Gilbert also impressed with 3 assists, and Jill O’Connor was a wall in the net with six saves. The coaches were proud of the excellent execution on the field and the outstanding sportsmanship by our players. The players and coaches appreciated all of the support from the families who attended, and special shout out to Ms. Lodge for the post-game snacks!
