With the westerly wind slightly ruffling his beard and under whelmingly lifting his patterned kilt, Eric Goodchild, the dedicated Master Bagpiper of the Deerfield Academy community, stepped out to the cusp of Gordie’s Overlook to see where his legato tune would take him: Right onto the field in between the Deerfield Academy parents’ tailgate, and the Choate Rosemary Hall parents’ bleachers. Bubba Fairman had a good day on a bad ankle, while Jordan Ginder had a great day against a good face-off opponent. Needless to say, much of their dialogue did not have anything to do with lacrosse, but, instead, each felt in good company.
