Traveling to the Taft School on Wednesday, April 12th, the Deerfield Baseball team found itself on the short end of a lackluster 10-1 defeat. No real highlights defined this game, as Deerfield fell behind 1-0 in the first inning, and then gave up 5 runs in the bottom of the second. Errors, walks, and misplayed balls led to the 5 runs. Deerfield could not recover from the 6-0 hole. Dylan Presnal accounted for the lone RBI with a ground out in the 4th. The Big Green turn their attention to conference play in the next four games. The team plays NMH at home on Saturday.
