Deerfield Academy Big Green JV Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over Williston Northampton

Deerfield Academy JV defeated Williston Northampton 8-2 thanks to a strong start. The Big Green scored in the first inning on a single, a triple by John Sawyers, a single by Luke Terry , a triple by Matthew Gardner, and Sameer Sharma scored a walk off in the second inning.

Levi Constant earned the win for Deerfield. He pitched five innings, giving up one run, three hits, and striking out ten.

The Big Green had 11 hits in the game. Luke Terry, Matthew Gardner, Constant, and Sameer Sharma each collected multiple hits. Sharma, Constant, Gardner, and Terry all had two hits to lead Deerfield Academy Big Green JV.
