Two Pitchers Team Up As Deerfield Academy Big Green JV Shuts Out Taft School

The Big Green JV squad defeated Taft School 11-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.

The team grabbed an early lead by scoring on an error, a single by Sameer Sharma, a single by Shane Graves all in the first inning, and a groundout by Levi Constant in the second inning.

Henry Renelus earned the win. He threw 5 innings, giving up zero runs, 2 hits, striking out three, and walking zero.

Sharma led with 2 hits in 2 at bats. Will Shuhda led with 2 stolen bases, as the team combined for a total of 8 stolen bases on the day.
