In the first match of the season, the boys JV squad headed south to Hotchkiss. In last year’s match, Hotchkiss easily handled the Deerfield squad but this year’s JV lineup boasts a great deal of young talent and they were up for the task of taking on the Bearcats. The boys played with heart and hustled out on the courts taking 4 matches against Hotchkiss and taking the victory 4-3 against the hosts in Lakeville. Sportsmanship and strong play typified each match and we wish Hotchkiss a successful season!
