Deerfield traveled to Worcester Academy and played the host team in the Thomas Blackburn Memorial Tournament on day two of what was supposed to be a two-day tournament. The first day was snowed out. Deerfield faced a tough opponent in Worcester, who has on their roster the #11 ranked ESPN junior recruit in the country and Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year for 2016-17, Aliyah Boston. The 6’3” Boston poured in 24 points and pulled down 23 rebounds in the decisive victory. Emma Reavis played an outstanding game, despite the tough competition, scoring 21 points and dishing out 4 assists.
