On Wednesday, December 13th, the boys thirds basketball team hosted the Eagle Hill School for a 3 pm tip off and came away with a 52-37 victory to even their season record at 1-1. The first half was a back and forth affair, with neither team able to gain much of an advantage, and the score was tied 25-25 at the half. Deerfield seized control of the game after the half with a 17-0 run and was never threatened again on the way to the win. Scoring was well distributed, with 13 players scoring, but none in double figures. Chase Mathis ’21 led the way with 8 points and Topjor Tsultrim ’18 contributed 6. The boys thirds basketball team will be back on the court after the winter break for a 1 pm tip on the road against the Eaglebrook School on January 6th.
