On a chilly Sunday afternoon, the girls varsity soccer team made the long drive down to Hotchkiss for a 1:00pm game. After hanging tough for the opening minutes, Hotchkiss was able to break through and score to make it 1-0. Despite DA’s best efforts, Hotchkiss was able to find the back on the net again throughout the game. The final score ended 0-6 with DA falling to a very strong Hotchkiss side. Despite the score line, Deerfield had moments of great defending and great attacking, and was able to do some good things over all. The team will look to build upon this experience as they will travel to Wilbraham & Monson on Wednesday for their last road game of the season.
