On Wednesday, Deerfield traveled to central Massachusetts to take on Worcester Academy. The Big Green were able to score three goals in the first five minutes; Mimi scored the first two (with Ali and Maggie each tallying an assist) and Maggie put away the third. Worcester never gave up though and the play was more back and forth for the rest of the game. Worcester scored early in the second half, and the score stayed at 3-1 until the final minute of the game when Hannah finished off a nice pass from Maggie. The Big Green were glad to earn the 4-1 win but are eager to keep improving at practice over the next few days so that they are fully prepared for Andover on Sunday. Go Big Green!
