On a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, Deerfield traveled to Northfield to take on the NMH Hoggers. The beginning of the game was very back and forth, as we weren’t doing a great job of stepping to ball or communicating. However, prior to an NMH time out, Deerfield was able to score off a corner with Ali finishing a scrum in front of the net. Deerfield made some good adjustments at the time out, and Juliet put in a beautiful tip with a minute remaining in the half. The second half was a team effort, with Maggie, Meredith (2), and Tierney all contributing to the 6-2 final score. Meredith, Tori, Talbot, and Caroline all played well for the Doors. Next up, Deerfield takes on St. Paul’s in Concord, NH on Saturday. Go Big Green!
