Deerfield put together a solid team effort in their win against KUA on Wednesday. About 8 minutes into the game, Mimi received a beautiful pass from Meredith and took a hard shot on net that ricocheted off the backboard. About 10 minutes later, Meredith scored on a corner and Deerfield took a 2-0 lead going into the half. The play was back and forth in the second half, but our defense was able to contain KUA’s aggressive forward line. Mimi, Meredith, and Tierney played well for the Doors and Erin and Corn played well defensively on the left side. Next up: Deerfield travels to Connecticut on Saturday to take on Loomis.
