It was a tough game for the team today, against a taller but evenly-matched Loomis team. We were up initially, playing well on defense and showing good patience against Loomis’ zone. But a couple of defensive lapses, and some missed shots had us down at halftime 13 -17. In the second half, we had a miserable start as we gave up 6 points in the first minute, and we never were able to get closer than 4 for the rest of the game, as it ended in a 25-36 loss. Darrel Dartry ’20 stepped up into a starting role and led our scoring with 9. Though outsized, Sim Bethel ’20 and Howard Cao ’19 both played well against a big and skilled Loomis post. We’re looking forward to improving on today’s effort this weekend.
