The boys thirds basketball team took on a young but big, skilled and well-coached Eaglebrook team. Eaglebrook jumped out to a quick lead, as we had troubles scoring initially, but as we settled down, our defensive intensity picked up and we were able to get control of the game by half time. We went into the break up 18 – 9, but knew we would be in for a tough second half. Eaglebrook responded well and came out more intense on the defensive end, holding us to just 10 points in the second half, but we were able to do the same, which left us with a solid 28 – 19 victory. Josh Fang ’19 and Carter Hampson ’20 were our players of note today, making big contributions defensively, rebounding and running the floor effectively.
