Not too soon after, Deerfield’s Jacqueline Minor ’17 scored her first goal of the season on header assisted by Annabel Gerber ’20 and Brenna Hoar’s ’18 quick corner kick. Jacqueline leveled the score with a goal on a shot from outside the 18. Maddie Wasson ’18 gave Deerfield the go-ahead goal on a header goal from Annabel’s free kick service. The Big Green scoring continued as Jacqueline gave Deerfield an insurance goal and a hat-trick when she volleyed a ball off Annabel’s corner kick. In the final minutes of play, Deerfield earned another corner. Annabel’s corner kick bounced in the box and was redirected into the back of the net by Jacqueline for her fourth and Deerfield’s fifth goal of the game.
