We made a rare Thursday roadtrip to Westy, hustling to start just after 5:00. We had a beautiful setting to play; Westminster’s courts are nestled among the woods on the edge of their campus. Due to the late start, we decided to play singles first, and found success across the board. Lorenzo was first off, again rushing the net like his life depended on it, and he finished the match without dropping a game. At #2, Scott was nearly as good against our familiar foe Henry Amory, where he gave up only a single game on his way to victory. After Alfi blasted through Ekholm, we needed only one more match to clinch, and Carl was eager to oblige, fully dialed in against the talented Anderson. Although Gideon and Darren struggled a bit, they both closed out their matches with plenty of breathing room. With a 6-0 lead, doubles was unnecessary and hence omitted.
