Choate’s scoring spurt to open the third quarter provided them a working margin, and despite our intense play in the fourth quarter, we couldn’t close the gap to win the playoff game. The coaches, however, are proud of the way every member of the team competed and/or supported teammates from start to finish in front of a raucous Choate crowd. We also noted that the four seniors on the team had the good fortune to play in the New England tournament in each year of their respective careers.
