Girls Varsity Soccer traveled to Suffield Academy for a conference matchup on Wednesday. After a few early chances for both teams, Suffield struck first to put the Tigers up 0-1. Jacqueline Minor put Deerfield on the board midway through the first half, but Suffield went up again before halftime to make the score 1-2 for the Tigers. With the score 1-2, Megan Graves scored the first goal of the second half to tie the game. With the score tied, Deerfield turned up the offensive pressure as the second half drew to a close. Minor scored the go-ahead goal with 12 minutes left. She completed the hat trick minutes later off a great assist from Felicia Renelus. Final score: 4-2. The girls completed another impressive comeback victory and will play Hotchkiss at home on Sunday at 1:30pm.
