Boys Soccer Drops Road Game to Worcester

This Wednesday the boys soccer team traveled to Worcester Academy’s beautiful New Balance Field for a showdown with a current top five team in the New England rankings. An early Worcester goal that came off of a free kick under a minute into the game would prove to be too much for the big green to overcome. Despite a strong defensive effort that saw DA trail by a single goal for the majority of the game, we couldn’t create any solid scoring opportunities due to a very strong Worcester back line. Worcester would find the back of the net two more times late in the game, resulting in a 3-0 loss. The boys will look to get back on track this Saturday at Andover for a 2:30 kickoff.
