On October 15th, JV Boys Soccer played against Hotchkiss in front of a large audience comprising of parents visiting Deerfield for parents’ weekend. The game that promised a lot when it started out could only be described as a practice in lead defending. DA got an advantage very early in the game around the 6-minute mark when Kevin Hendrick headed in a corner delivery from Mason Horton. While there were quite a few commendable individual efforts throughout the game, DA could not produce a lot of chances on the attack and held on to preserve a 1-0 victory.
