My daughters, Sophie (8) and Haley (5), and I took advantage of the frigid weather that has held much of North America in its grip this Winter. We spent many hours skating and playing good old fashioned pond hockey on the glassy surface of Crooked Lake, Nova Scotia, over the New Year 2014 break. Should DA classmate or friend find themself in Halifax, by all means look me up!
