I have recently gotten a promotion to EMS Captain at the firehouse and continue to respond on both fire and EMS calls there. I am within sight of the finish line on my Paramedic license which I began pursuing last September, I am VERY exceited that this process is nearly behind me!! The Brunswick Police Department is moving out of the nasty basement where we have been housed for the last 36 years and into a brand new building tomorrow, a relief for all of us. I was very lucky to have all three of my nephews and my niece in Maine for a month this summer…ages 2 months, 6 months, 2 1/2 years and 5 years, it was exhausting, but I wouldn’t have missed it! All in all I’m not sure where summer went this year, and by the time I figure it out, Fall will be behind us too. I look forward to a vacation…next decade perhaps?
