Julia Pielock’10 and Jenner Macleod’13 at DIII Swim Champs

Deerfield swimming teammates Julia’10 and Jenner”13 met in Indianapolis, Indiana at the 2014 NCAA Division III Swimming Championships in March. Julia,swimming in her final championship meet for Connecticut College, swam in the adjacent lane to Jenner swimming for Kenyon College, in both the 50 Freestyle prelims and consolation finals. Then in the same heat in the 200 Free Relay prelims and in the evening in the 200 Free Championship Finals. On the final day, Julia and Jenner swam in the 100 Free prelims, 400 Freestyle prelims. That evening Julia swam in the 100 Freestyle championship final and Jenner in the 400 Freestyle relay finals. Both Jenner and Julia achieved multiple All-American swims that week. Julia finished her Connecticut College swimming career as a 7 time All-American, 2 time All-American Academic and 3 time NESCAC Champion.
