I retired this spring as president of North Carolina Wesleyan College after five good years, “finishing up strong” as Mr. Boyden kept whispering in my ear! We are leaving Rocky Mount, NC for our mountain home in Roaring Gap, NC and Durham, NC where two of our children and five of our eight grandchildren live. I plan to work part-time, raising money for some causes I am passionate about. Classmates Bink Garrison and Peter Drake have a Pocumtuck Pact to rendezvous once a year in North Carolina, South Carolina, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts. We are trying to recruit Gary Bensen so we can include Rosie and Maine!
