Ty McCormick ’06 got engaged to Jill Filipovic in December 2016. They will be married at the Talisman restaurant in Nairobi, Kenya on January 29, 2018. Jill is a contributing op-ed writer at the New York Times and the author of the forthcoming “The H-Spot: The Feminist Pursuit of Happiness.” Ty is the Africa editor at Foreign Policy magazine. They met in 2013 on a press trip in Malawi sponsored by the U.N. Foundation.
