Hey everyone! I am currently working on a documentary film called “Dear Hip-Hop” through Hamilton College’s Emerson Research Grant. The documentary explores the evolution of the music genre, Hip-Hop and its portrayal of the African American male figure. I will be conducting “street-interviews” and “in the studio” interviews with some artists in the Hip-Hop industry, in hopes of gaining more insight for my project.
