West Alabama catfish producers turned out recently to get the latest news on industry topics and to recognize several individuals for their service to the industry. Dan Butterfield received the lifetime achievement award November 13, 2015. The Annual meeting was held in the Demopolis Civic Center and hosted by Auburn University’s school of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Acquatic Sciences. Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented. Dan Butterfield, graduate of Deerfield Academy ’60, a recipient.
