“I can’t really believe it has been 62 years since we graduated from Deerfield. Years full of opportunity, challenges, loss and love. I went on to graduate from Yale College and Stanford School of Business. Met and married the love of my life, Fan, and we had two wonderful children, Jennifer and Adam, both went to Andover and Yale. Jenny went to Harvard Medical School and is currently head of endocrine surgery at Yale. Adam became an artist and currently works at Rockefeller University in New York City. We have three grandchildren.

My first real job was working in the Office of Systems Analysis under Defense Secretary Robert McNamara. I also served as Associate Director of the Office of Management and Budget under Pres.Ford. Helped start the Yale School of Management. Was President of the American Bankers Association for twenty years. Now happily retired on Martha’s Vineyard.

I am grateful every day for the life lessons I learned from Frank Boyden and the many Deerfield friends I have had over my life time. Best wishes to you all.” – Don Oglivie ’61
