Retired recently, January 2014, from the Massachusetts Department Fire Services after 25 years as an instructor at Massachusetts Firefighting Academy. Retired from active firefighting service after 57 years of service in Massachusetts and Connecticut, which started in Deerfield in 1957. Serving as a Public Safety Commissioner for the City of Greenfield, MA since July 2010.
