My “Constitutional Essentials: On the Constitutional Theory of Political Liberalism” — taking up some core questions for the theory and practice of democratic constitutionalism — was published in September by the Oxford University Press. This book covers work I’ve had in progress for quite a while. It was largely written after my retirement in 2012 from active teaching at Harvard.
