Travel Information

Public Bus Service

Peter Pan bus lines offer daily service from Northampton and Springfield. Contact Customer Care for assistance at 1-800-343-9999 for schedules or click here for more information.

For Greyhound Bus, the telephone number is 1-800-231-2222.

 

Train

The AMTRAK Vermonter has service at Northampton and the John W. Olver Transit Center in Greenfield (a cab ride from Deerfield’s campus). Call 1-800-872-7245.

 

Air

The closest international airport is Bradley International Airport, which services the Hartford, CT-Springfield, MA area. It is located 50 miles south of Deerfield. Logan Airport in Boston is a 2–3 hour drive. There are also several local airports that can handle small planes.

International students should always check the following before travel: passport expiration date, I–94 card expiration date (received at port of entry), signature from the PDSO or a DSO on the second page of the I–20 form.
