Submit your alternate study proposal below. The Alternate Studies Committee will reject any proposal if a student receives an end-of-term grade below 80% or is not in good standing in the community.

Please review the guidelines and eligibility requirements for alternate studies before completing this form.

Please check the DA Calendar for the Alternate Study due date in February.

1. The objectives of the project - what you hope to learn and why it is important to you personally and educationally.

2. A timeline with a detailed description of the various stages of the project that allow you to meet your objectives.

3. The names of your faculty sponsors and non-faculty supervisors with whom you plan to work and a description of the teaching arrangements you have made with them (frequency of meetings, shared materials, transportation arrangements, etc.).

4. How you wish to be evaluated (Note that each student is required to produce a typed report at both the middle and end of the spring term, and to give a 45-minute presentation during the last week of school.)
