From May 25th until June 3rd, a team of Deerfield students will embark on a 10-day interdisciplinary biking expedition to South Dakota’s Mickelson Trail, in which students the chance to explore the rich natural, historical, and cultural contours of this spectacular and complex western landscape that is the ancestral home of the Lakota Sioux.
