The Academic Affairs Office is holding required academic integrity sessions, On Being a Deerfield Scholar, this week on Friday, September 4, immediately following sit-down lunch, and they will end at approximately 1:45 pm. In these sessions, faculty will discuss our expectations around responsible scholarship, AI, and academic integrity. You’ll learn important information about plagiarism, proper collaboration, and internet sourcing. Academic integrity is a vital part of our school community, so please attend your session and pay close attention. These sessions are required for ALL students, both new and returning. Please bring your laptop, as you will need a device that can connect to the internet at the end of the session. Bring them to sit-down lunch to ensure you arrive on time.

New Student Sessions
- All ninth graders: You will meet in small groups in the Main School Building second-floor classrooms. Please use this list to find your location in the MSB; go to the location that corresponds to your name. Lists will also be posted in the MSB.
- New tenth graders: You will meet in small groups in the Main School Building third-floor classrooms. Please use this list to find your location in the MSB. Go to the location that corresponds to your name. Lists will also be posted on the MSB third floor.
- New juniors: Koch Center 204 (aka Koch Center Planetarium)
- New seniors & PGs: Koch Center 205
Returning Student Sessions
- All Returning tenth graders: Hess Center Concert Hall
- All Returning juniors: Koch Center Garonzik Auditorium
- All Returning seniors: Hess Center Auditorium
If you have a medical or religious conflict that prevents you from attending this session, please contact Ms. White as soon as possible. Students who do not attend their session must attend a make-up session.
