Tuesday Night: Engage with Justin Driver (Yale Law School)

Next week, we will welcome Justin Driver to campus, the Robert R. Slaughter Professor of Law at Yale Law School.

Driver has a distinguished publication record in the nation’s leading law reviews. He has also written extensively for general audiences, including pieces in The Atlantic, The New Republic, The New York Times, and The Washington Post, and his most recent book is The Fall of Affirmative Action: Race, the Supreme Court, and the Future of Higher Education. An elected member of the American Law Institute and an elected fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, Driver served on the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States.

On Tuesday evening, after sit-down, Professor Driver will address the Deerfield community in the Concert Hall on the constitutional rights of students in the United States, the topic of his first book, The Schoolhouse Gate: Public Education, the Supreme Court, and the Battle for the American Mind.
