Driver, the Robert B. Slaughter Professor at Yale Law School is one of the nation’s leading legal minds. He holds degrees from Brown, Duke, Oxford, and Harvard Law; taught at Harvard, Stanford, UT, UVA, and UChicago; clerked for Judge Merrick Garland and Justice Sandra Day O’Connor; and served on Biden’s Presidential Committee on the Supreme Court of the United States.
His expertise and commitments lie at the intersection of law and education. He is the author of two books: The Schoolhouse Gate: Public Education, the Supreme Court, and the Battle for the American Mind and last year’s The Fall of Affirmative Action: Race, the Supreme Court, and the Future of Higher Education.
