On Sunday, Speech & Debate went to Hopkins School in New Haven for their annual parliamentary debating tournament.
DA won the day, sweeping the advanced division! John ’26 won 3rd-place advanced debater; Casey ’28 took 2nd-place; and Alice ’28 won the whole tournament, taking 1st-place advanced debater.
The full squad, including Campbell ’29, Hayston ’29, Jasper ’28, Matthew ’29, and Willa ’28 contributed to DA’s overall win as top school.
