America at 250 Forum: Three Governors in Conversation

To mark the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026, the Pew Charitable Trusts and Disagree Better will host an event focused on the state of U.S. democracy, highlighting the importance of civil political discourse in a strong republic. Data shows that Americans are concerned about the growing polarization they see in the government. With this data as a backdrop, Pew and Disagree Better will convene three sitting governors—Spencer Cox (R—Utah), Wes Moore (D—Maryland), and Kevin Stitt (R—Oklahoma)—to share their insights on how to find common ground and solve important problems through civil conversation.

Join us in the Planetarium at 5 pm for a livestream of the event. Pizza will be provided.
