The PSAT will be held on campus the morning of Saturday, October 11. The PSAT is a preparatory version of the SAT exam and serves as the National Merit Scholarship qualifying exam for students in their third year of high school. Deerfield encourages this exam for juniors and offers it as an option for tenth graders. Tenth graders are not automatically registered but may opt in, and juniors are automatically registered to take the test but may opt out.
Please email [email protected] by Friday, October 3, if you would like to opt in (or out) of the PSAT. The test will be administered in a digital format, and each student must bring their Deerfield-issued laptop with the Bluebook app added and updated, along with proper identification for check-in. Student accounts will be charged for the test administration (students on financial aid will receive assistance). Keep an eye on your inbox for additional communication from our Testing Coordinator, and please direct any questions to [email protected].
