As Dr. Austin announced at School Meeting, we invite student nominations of faculty for the Greer Chair award each year at this time:
The Greer Family Distinguished Teaching Chair has been established by the generous support of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Greer ’53 and their daughter, Elizabeth ’94. The chair is awarded to that member of the faculty whose tireless efforts in the past year, both in and out of the classroom, have enriched immeasurably the minds and hearts of students at Deerfield Academy. This teacher has exhibited exemplary enthusiasm and understanding in academic and co-curricular work with students, and has served as a role model for students to emulate in their daily lives.
Please nominate one faculty member by completing the Greer Chair Student Nomination Form before Wednesday, May 7—and do not nominate any prior Greer Chairs, who are listed below:
