Washington D.C #1: The Journey Begins

Over the Long Winter Weekend, nine students and three faculty trip leaders are traveling to Washington, D.C. to explore how the Constitutional freedoms protecting speech, the press, religion, and protest are embodied in the history of the nation and contemporary life in the District of Columbia. The students and faculty are currently safely at the train station in Greenfield, Ma where they will take the train all the way to Washington D.C arriving late this evening! Please continue to check the blog for updates from students on the ground over their long winter weekend trip.

We look forward to reading the groups upcoming blog posts on Deerfield’s Notes from the Field!
