Want a chance to see democracy in action? Join us for a field trip down to Northampton on Saturday morning to watch Deerfield’s representative in Congress, Jim McGovern, hold a town hall with his constituents, billed as “Coffee With Your Congressman.”
His office writes, “Democracy isn’t a spectator sport—in fact, it’s vital that all of us participate in the hard work of self-government. Let’s have a good discussion, talk about the resources my team can provide, and meet each other as friends and neighbors in community.”
