On Monday, January 5, breakfast and snack will take place in the temporary dining hall. Following the snack, the temporary dining hall will close permanently.
During Community Time that day, first and second waiters will participate in an orientation to the new Brick dining hall. Watch the training video for first and second waiters shown at School Meeting.
The first sit-down meal in the Brick dining hall will begin at 12:40 pm. Following sit-down, the community is invited to gather for a photo on the front steps of the Brick at 1:15 pm. All are welcome to join.
Faculty and staff who are not on sit-down duty should eat lunch between 11:30 am and 12:15 pm in the employee dining room. Faculty who are not on duty for sit-down can, of course, eat in that space during sit-down, but we would love to minimize traffic on this first day as students arrive.
The Brick will be officially dedicated on Saturday, March 28. Details to follow.
Please note that the employee dining room in the Brick will no longer be called the Parker Room and will now be referred to simply as the employee dining room.
