American Presidential Debate on Tuesday

On Tuesday at 9 pm, ABC News will air a 90-minute debate between Vice President Harris and former President Trump. We invite juniors and seniors to watch it live and recognize that ninth and tenth graders may want to at some point after that (in full or segments). This is optional viewing, and it should not come at the expense of class preparation for Wednesday.

Over the course of the week, you may all interact with clips from the debate. We hope this document is a useful guide for understanding its rules and what you might look for as you tune in.
