At 8:00am on Tuesday, October 8th, ITS will be installing a new Security Certificate on our GreenDoor wireless network. Security Certificates are used to enable a secure connection between your computer and the WiFi network, and your computer must be updated with the new certificate.
At the same time, the new Certificate will be pushed out to all of the Academy’s computers. You will likely experience a brief network disconnect (a couple of minutes) when this occurs. and you may be prompted to accept the new Certificate. If you are prompted, please accept the Certificate. Your computer will then reconnect to GreenDoor.
If you are not using the GreenDoor WiFi when this update occurs, your computer will get the new Certificate the next time you log in.
This should only cause a momentary disruption of your WiFi connection. If you experience a longer outage, or have any other problems, please reach out to the ITS Help Desk at ext. 1444, helpdesk@deerfield.edu.
